On March 19th, 2023 CYEN collaborated with the Faculty of Science & Technology (FST) Student Committee to execute a beach cleanup at Long Beach, Christ Church. The cleanup was to commemorate the start of their FST Student Committee Week. In preparation for the cleanup, CYEN members did a training session on 17th March for persons who would have served as data collectors on the day of the cleanup. On the day of the cleanup, there were 46 volunteers present who collected a total of 225.33lbs of marine debris including fishing nets and microplastics and cleared a distance of 0.60km.

On February 14th 2023, CYEN in Barbados gave a presentation to some of the students at the Harrison College Secondary School as part of their Environmental Week. The presentation gave students a background of CYEN, what the organization does and how students can be involved in the organization and its work.

On February 2nd, 2023 National Coordinator in Barbados, Shannon Weekes and CYEN member Tristan Downes, attended the Media Sensitisation Workshop in the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) facilitated project, ‘Enhancing Climate Resilience in CARIFORUM Countries.
