This event was a follow up to the Climate Justice Week activities held in June using the same funding. The event focused on social media engagement with youth via Instagram and Facebook, though 3 engaging Instagram giveaways. Informational posts about Climate Justice and the 6 Pillars of Climate Justice were made on both platforms in advance of the giveaways. The giveaways were also posted on both platforms; however, Facebook users were directed to Instagram to enter.
Giveaway 1 – Comment Section Giveaway
Participants answered the question “What does Climate Justice mean to you?” in the comment section.
Giveaway 2- Climate Justice Crossword
Participants completed a Climate Justice Crossword and submitted their answers via email.
The winner was announced via Instagram Live.
